Nature Reclaiming the Urban Landscape

A project that explores the decay of derelict structures through natural processes taking over. The juxtaposition of urban structures to organic, natural forms sparked a visual interest that has been translated into surface samples for interior and exterior application, designed for the concept space of an art gallery. The application of this work has the potential to create greater impact through its social awareness, creating a positive space to encourage a safer community, reducing crime rates in the local area; contextually linking to my visual there through the idea of regeneration.
